I came here once with my family and a few friends for my birthday. I thought it was fun, but not as good as other places I've been. We told the staff it was my birthday. So, of course, everyone that worked there came out to sing to me, which was a nice gesture, but I found it to be a bit awkward, and the dessert they gave me was kinda weird. But, other than that, I had a fun time there.

I came to the Northbrook location again this year for my youngest sister's birthday dinner. The food was excellent as usual, and our waitress was great. Lydia, the server, even brought out 2 extra plates because I had accidentally spilled some sauce when reaching over for some food. My niece was at first scared of the grill flames, but her mom calmed her down.

I went to Ron of Japan on Saturday evening with my family to help celebrate a sister's birthday. I've been here several times before and it has always been a great experience. The restaurant is physically accessible, and the food is excellent. It's always fun to watch the chef cook the food right at my table. The service is great too. They sang a birthday song to my sister.
