We had breakfast after our bridge builder meeting, the waitress spoke to my client and asked him to repeat himself if she didnt understand the first time. The atmosphere is very welcoming and warm, i will eat there for sure again.

I was there without Noah, but won't hesitate to bring him at some time, though I have to check out the menu. He doesn't like typical breakfast foods. I thought the food was way better the some of the other breakfast places around. I had a veggie hash that was excellent. Well prepared, crispy...really yyummy. The waitstaff was so pleasant. The atmosphere was comfortable...I had a breakfast meeting...lighting was good, noise level acceptable to carry on a conversation.

When you approach Butterfield's, there's a big wheelchair sign on the door next to the revolving door, and the restaurant is wheelchair accessible. The thing I like about the place is that there are booths, and two areas with big tables that are pretty separate from the rest of the dining area. My son has autism, and now that he's older, he's more comfortable eating in a restaurant, but when he was younger, it was really important to have some privacy...so that he wouldn't bother other diners and so they wouldn't be as likely to bother him. I was told that if you call ahead, you can reserve one of those private areas away from the other diners. To me, any restaurant that offers more private eating areas is a more welcoming place for families with kids with special needs. Also, they have a nice menu (including a children's menu), and healthy choices as well as the traditional breakfast and lunch fare. Hope others will add their reviews after they've had a chance to try Butterfields.
