What Is Judgement?

Posted by on July 6, 2015 - 1 Comment

According to the dictionary on the web “judgement is the ability to make considered decisions or come to sensible conclusions.”

At No Boundaries judgement is one of the tenets we work by.  At No Boundaries judgement means to assess situations or problems, and get support when needed to make good decisions.

What does judgement mean to me?  Judgement is making the right choices in our everyday life. In my life I have had to make important decisions.  For example, I started smoking when my ex-roommate at the PACE Program had a cigarette in her hand and she told me to try one.  That was the first judgement call I made. Then some time later I decided to stop smoking.  That was an even bigger decision to make.  It was hard to quit. I am getting a lot of support in making the right decision. I know that smoking is very unhealthy for me. I continue to make judgement calls every day about work and every part of my life.
