Today is the day! Support the override of the Community Disability Living Wage Act Veto!

Back in August, Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner vetoed the Community Disability Living Wage Act, weakening efforts to secure a living wage for employees with disabilities. However, today (November 15th), a Fall Veto Session of the General Assembly will take place, in which the legislature will have an opportunity to override the veto and make the bill a law. But they can’t do it alone! Read the action items on the Wear DSPS website and call 1-844-259-0916 to tell your legislators to vote “Yes” to override the Governor’s veto.
