Skills to Pay the Bills video series

Posted by on January 18, 2013 - 2 Comments

Thanks to Alice Elliott at Welcome Change Productions, we stumbled upon a well-produced video series produced by the Department of Labor’s Office of Disability Employment Policy covering multiple aspects of landing a job.

With topics such as “Enthusiasm and Attitude”, “Professionalism”, and “Networking”, these are ideal for sharing with teens and young adults who are working on finding employment. They’ve also included closed-captioning and audio descriptions, so the videos are even more accessible.

The entire series is available for viewing on the Department of Labor’s website, but here’s one of my favorites below:

I didn’t hear any audio description, but the video was good. I’d hire the guy who came to the interview prepared, and didn’t talk on his phone.
